Jina and Minnie

Created using the Elemental Paper kit. I usually like to use a lot of photos, but I left a good portion of white space on this one for a nice change. I had to stop myself from trying to fill it all in! Loved these shots of Jina and Minnie. I am not sure why that cat puts up with her, Jina loves to pester her so much.

San Antonio River Walk

Another layout from our vacation last summer. I created this one with Studio J, it shows off the San Antonio Riverwalk during the daylight as well as the night time hours. Even after dark it was so hot, I think we would not have minded falling into the river and cooling off. We got lost on the walk back to the Hotel because of the crowds, and Juan's GPS on the phone saved us.

The Alamo

Using misc. supplies from my scrap stash, this is a layout from our vacation last summer. Even for the month of June in Texas, it was so hot at 105 degrees, that we came home early! It interesting to see the mission, just very crowded.

Sonoma Layout

Jinamarie 10 years old

Using the Sonoma kit. Jinamarie loves the purple shades throughout these papers, it is her favorite color. I do believe she is finally getting taller than "the" hair. She doesn't seem to sit on it any more, thank goodness!

Being You Layout

I made this layout using older supplies from a company no longer in business. Trying to use my stash of older kits and embellishments. I am using a new wide format scanner, as well as new photo stitching software, I have had a bit of a learning curve recently! But I think I am getting it now.

We took Jinamarie and her friend Diana to Mercer Arboretum last year on Spring Break to see the flowers and take photos I could use for her 8th grade school picture. Sometimes it just all comes together at once and magic happens. The photos were wonderful and we had a really nice time.

My Creation Collage Cubes

For my daughter's best friend Diana's 15th birthday I made a set of the My Creations Collage Cubes featuring their adored boy bands, in her favorite colors of black & red. I used four of the cubes as Month and Day boxes so it it a perpetual Calendar. I also included pictures of her and Jina, and stamped images of music because they both enjoy Choir so much.She was thrilled with it and now my daughter wants to make one as well. These are so much fun to work with.

Afghan is finished

Finally finished the afghan for Juan, of course I went a bit overboard.  Here is my inspiration picture from Lion Yarn, and my interpretation of the same one only larger, a lot larger!

and His Highness sound asleep tonight using it...



 

Now to make one for myself that Jina won't take. I am thinking something like this one, nice!
