Halloween 2010 Layout

This is Jinamarie last year for Halloween. We were not sure if she was going to go, she was still recovering from the surgery. But she was very clear that she want "Candy" and lots of it! Used some older papers and supplies for this layout. I have it framed on the wall in the living room as part of this years Halloween Decor. The picture of her hand with the long fingernails really looks spooky...

Fall Decor

Time for Fall to arrive, it can NOT get here too soon. Put up the Halloween decor and made this adorable new wreath. I have an abundance of wreath forms that I bought years ago on clearance and this year I am going to use them up. Well I am going to try any way! Here is my new wreath I made from leftover yarn, the hubby refers to it as the "Fuzzy Balls". So now we are calling it that. Could be done in Christmas colors too.

Lots and lots of pom-poms (fuzzy balls?). I got the idea from here: Pom-Pom Wreath. Next project a new afghan. Juan pointed out I have not made one in almost 15 years and he likes to use it during chilly evenings. Cool more yarn stash to use up.

Here is some of the Fall decor I put up, I am truly trying to fool myself into thinking it is getting cooler outside. Forecast is today will be the last 100+ degree day, hope it is true, we need a break.  Maybe we need to start a rain dance?

Studio J Layouts

This is my first blog post and I thought I would share our first Studio J Layouts. This one is mine, once I got the hang of it it was fun! It is kind of addicting, But I have a lot of paper kits to use and I love the feel of paper and ribbon in my hand, so I will be still doing most of my layouts that way. This was a fun trip.

This one was Jina's. She is much better at the digital creations and she really had fun. She liked sharing it! 

Is anyone surprised her's is about the kitty? Now that we have the second kitty Jinamarie will be making many more of these layouts. I am looking forward to the pictures of both kitties together.
