Jinamarie Age 9

This layout was created using an old kit from an out of business company. I am really trying to use up my older scrapbook stash and make room for new things. I am a very firm believer in lots of journaling to tell the story behind the pictures but while working with these photos of Jina from the fall of 2006, it sure seemed as though no words were needed. My beautiful daughter at age 9, just on the verge of becoming a tween!

Dotty Cards for Swap

Two cards made with the Dotty for You paper availble as a special during May only. The colors and patterns are so much fun to work with. My new favorite kit! These cards were for a swap I am in.

Nimitz 9th Grade Orientation

Our daughter is a freshman in High School, wow! I used the Elemental Paper kit again, this time the blue's. Where does the time go? Next will be dating, proms, parties. I am not ready for this...

Baby Girl get's her new forever home.

Here is Baby Girl's first page, our sweet little angel we adopted from The Houston SPCA last August during the Cool Cat Catstravaganza. All her fees were waived because they had many kitties and needed homes for them all. I used the Lucky Paper kit for this layout. I struggled with this one, the colors in this kit were a little hard for me, but it all came together nicely.

Jina and Minnie

Created using the Elemental Paper kit. I usually like to use a lot of photos, but I left a good portion of white space on this one for a nice change. I had to stop myself from trying to fill it all in! Loved these shots of Jina and Minnie. I am not sure why that cat puts up with her, Jina loves to pester her so much.

San Antonio River Walk

Another layout from our vacation last summer. I created this one with Studio J, it shows off the San Antonio Riverwalk during the daylight as well as the night time hours. Even after dark it was so hot, I think we would not have minded falling into the river and cooling off. We got lost on the walk back to the Hotel because of the crowds, and Juan's GPS on the phone saved us.

The Alamo

Using misc. supplies from my scrap stash, this is a layout from our vacation last summer. Even for the month of June in Texas, it was so hot at 105 degrees, that we came home early! It interesting to see the mission, just very crowded.
